Not long ago, I was leaving a meeting in a local alternative middle school. As I walked out the door pushing the stroller, I checked the time on my cell phone. Much to my dismay, the clock was blank (Side note: I still don’t know why – cheap piece of crap). I noticed to my right a running truck with the window open. I figured the cute older couple must have been there to pick up their teenage grandchild for lunch and they looked fairly harmless. I was hoping to get the boy home in time to meet his dad for lunch but wasn’t sure if I’d make it or not.
Me:Excuse me. Can you tell me the time?
Older lady: It’s ten to twelve.
As I turned my head to thank her, I noticed her husband sitting in the drivers seat with the rearview mirror tilted toward him. He had a large pair of kitchen shears and was trimming his nose hairs! She had a pair of tweezers in her hand and was pulling out his stray ear hairs. Isn’t it amazing what people think is appropriate? Or do they just think that nobody will notice? More likely, they just dont care one way or the other.

OMG, that is so disgusting. Reminds me of that episode of Seinfeld where’s he’s scratching the inside of his nose in the car. I will say, she must adore him to be willing to pluch his ear hair. Eww.
