Naturally (and, perhaps, randomly?)
*Looking to buy a crib mattress? Scary stuff out there. Sometimes I think I’m better off in denial.
*A great new find: CHECBlog is currently presenting 90 tips in 90 days. “For 90 days, CHEC is focusing on daily tips that will help you reduce exposure to chemicals, toxins, and pollutants - for the benefit of your children’s health, the health of your home, and the environment.” I highly recommend subscribing to their feed to heading over there daily for the tips.
*Also, check out Blue Butterfly. “Creating a healthier future for children.” It’s what we all want.
*Heal The House is a great site where you can tour the various areas of a home and learn about reducing the toxins in them.
*This is really sad. Will natural ever be pretty enough?

Wow, that Dove film is something else. I knew about airbrushing models to make them look good, but I never imagined ad production folks making a neck longer, eyes bigger and face slimmer. Why couldn’t any of us be models, then?!

We could, if we had the right Photoshop geniuses on our side.

WOW! Great links. It is so hard. I am raising a girl in a very shallow world. I hope I can represent to her that she will always be beautiful because of who she is not what she looks like!

Great links!
I saw that dove one this morning. Months ago I came across a website that showed how they took an “ordinary” female and put her on the cover of a mag - and man what a difference! It doesn’t even look like the same person anymore. They change everything about a person’s looks - making shawdows here, more bust here, thinner cheeks, higher eyebrows etc…it’s disgusting!

Crib matresses… there are so many to choose from!! EEK!
