Friday Miscellany
Oh, where to begin the miscellany today…
Never a better place to begin than with chocolate, no? After giving away some of the coolest goodies in the universe, I finally won something myself! The fabulous Girl Con Queso sent me some of the richest and yummiest chocolate ever. Champagne glaze from Shoe Box Oven. Did you click through and look at it? It’s even better than it looks. The BG and I split it in half, stabbed it with a fork and finished it in less than 5 minutes. It was heavenly, and we are pigs. So, GcQ, thanks so much for making me fatter. It was well worth it!
Since my kid has teeth now, he’s finally stopped biting. This is good. Wanna see the chompers? (And maybe a little bit up his nose?) Well, alrighty then.
My mother in law and her huz are coming tonight to take the three of us out to dinner. Actually, that’s just a big ruse to get time with the kid, but they’re pretending they want to see us too.
Tomorrow’s my birthday! My folks are coming up for a sleepover and the BG and I will be going out for dinner. ALONE. For the first time since I was 40 weeks pregnant. This is huge, people. Huge, I tell you. Grandma Betty is the only person in the world who can get him to bed other than me, so it will be fine. We’re actually going after he goes to bed, so maybe she’ll get lucky and he’ll stay asleep. Here’s hoping…
Anyone know how old I am? I’ll kiss you if you guess 25 or lower.
I’ve got much more miscellany for you, but it’s time to find some pants that fit so I can go eat dinner and make them tight again.

Let me be the first one on this blog to wish you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!! You are 23. Will I get a kiss?? Going out for dinner, just the 2 of you?? Wow I wish I could do that with my hubby!! oh well someday. Sorry been out of touch but I’m in Montreal for an extended visit with my folks (have been here 4 weeks already) & schoolwork is also kicking my butt. have been thinking lots of you though! Hugs & kisses… and an extra one to Rylan from K. Congrats on the teeth. Hope your nights are better now
