Give Me Something Good To Eat
Everything except the costume was a hit this year. From the moment I started to put it on, he told me “All done,” so I just got a few pictures like this:

and then he just wore his Happy Halloween shirt for the rest of the day.
He carved his first jack-o-lantern and loved everything except the guts. He loved shouting “Puhkin!” and pointing out it’s various facial features. His babysitter made him a caramel apple that was the highlight of his day. (Don’t worry, I scraped most of the caramel off first but am now going to put much of his fruit on sticks!) He even took it into the bathtub with him and we had to pry it from his hands to brush his teeth at bedtime. All in all it was a pretty great day!
Baby #2 had his or her first costume on too:

We hope you all had a fabulously spooktacular day!

(I got put on sick leave today so I’m officially a stay at home mom again…
for another 14 months anyway.)

Glad to hear you’re off! Now get some R&R (I know easier said than done). Sorry to hear he didn’t like his costume. K seemed to enjoy his this year! We carved our pumpkin at 5:30 pm outside, it was a big rush as we both came home late but it was fun anyway.
By the way how do you get to brush his teeth?? He doesn’t like the toothbrush that much anymore! When I wipe his teeth with a wet cloth before he goes to bed, he gets upset!

YOU OK?
Costumes are a little constricting for a kid. Glad the rest of halloween was fun. Just wait till he is all about the candy! J is taking more candy out of here, he is a candy smuggler!

Haha! I love that Rylan signed all done when he didn’t want to wear the costume anymore. However, I’m still sorry for you that he didn’t want to wear it.
Cute belly!
