My Hips: All you ever wanted to know about them and more.
They are wide and growing daily.
They are falling apart. Completely disintegrating. I’m quite sure if there wasn’t skin on the outside there would be a bone popping out and hitting you in the eyeball. One moment I’m walking and then next I’m shouting in pain and/or falling over and/or all of the above. This had better go away when this baby is born and that’s all I have to say about that. (If I hadn’t deleted all my archives from my last pregnancy, I’m pretty sure we’d be able to confirm that this sounds a little familiar but since we the arrival of “the freaks” necessitated that bit of bloggy-house-cleaning, we’ll never really know and I get to complain like it’s all fresh. Right?)
We had a teeny bit of snow last night, making it seem all Christmasy around here. Being the stubborn ass of a 35 week pregnant woman that I am, I shoveled the driveway and sidewalks this morning. It was really just a dusting of snow so it was more like sweeping than anything, but now? I walk like I had a C-section yesterday. All bent over and crippled and stuff.
And? My hips. As above.
The boy sees me writhing on the floor in pain and tries to lift me up and hug me. So incredibly sweet that kid is. So I put on a happy face and pretend it doesn’t hurt until he turns his back.
Moving? Sitting? Lying down? They all suck.

So are you hoping for a Christmas baby? Or New Years?? I guess I never realized before when you were actually due!

Um I’m sure that you have the same 24 (or is it 48) shoveling bylaw as us, however do yourself a favour and refrain ;-)! Be kind to your baby growing body.
Seriously 35 weeks already?? Wow. I hear Jan 7th is a good day (it may be my own b-day and I will gladly share)

uuugghh! sorry to hear about the problems your hips are causing you! I haven’t had any issues with my hips (knock on wood!) but I have had a lot of pressure/pain in the pelvic area … I have to walk “gingerly” sometimes and have a hard time balancing on one leg to put my pants on LOL
What is your due date again? I know Dec, just couldn’t remember the date.
