Patience is a virtue
My poor kid. My hips are so sore now that I’m having trouble chasing him around so when he eats I leave him a few extra minutes when he’s done so I can rest or, you know, pee alone without worrying that he’s going to choke on his snack while I’m gone.
Apparently he’s noticing because when he asked to get out of his booster seat tonight he said “All done! Wait.”
Oops!

I hate to be that person that is all *Just you wait* but it is good for the little guy to understand that you are not totally on beck and call. Once there is a newborn, you may be breastfeeding, changing a diaper or just snuggling when little guy needs something from you and he will have to wait. But he will also have a new brother or sister to love and play with (eventually). Dr Sears has a really cool book called “What Baby Needs” that is awesome. When my stuff comes I can send it to you to read with the little guy. Becca really enjoys the book still. (remind me if I forget and if you want it)

He’s so cute!
It’s nice to pee alone, isn’t it? I’m glad I get to do that again.

We tell our youngest “one more bite” to keep her in her chair long enough for me to actually swallow my food…
