The un-hiatus.
We leave tomorrow about 6:30 am to grab some Starbucks drive-through and head to the hospital where they will stick a glorified crochet hook up my va-jay-jay and through my 3 cm dilated for 3 weeks now cervix to poke a hole in the amniotic sac surrounding child 2.0.
I should be back to blogville - enough to tell you about baby anyway - early next week.
I’m very sad to be leaving the boy at home and have done my fair share of bawling over it, but he’s in the capable hands of both his grandmas who will be tag teaming him over the next few days along with the BG who is going to try to be home for bedtimes at the very least. In 21 months I’ve never left him for more than 9 hours and never overnight. I’ve only not put him to bed with my own two hands twice - once for a school BBQ and once to go to a friend’s house when she was fighting cancer.
So yeah, it’s going to suck but it’s for a very good reason. We get to bring home another one! Wheee!
Merci beaucoup for all the emails, prayers & positive thoughts. Y’all rock and every single word means a lot to me. Really truly.

EVERYONE is on pins and needles and soooo excited for all of you… can you feel the love coming from the east coast??? My folks are always asking for website updates and Megan and I were talking tonight about how excited we are for you all! YAY!!! I will be sending positive vibes tomorrow, as soon as I get up! We’ll all be waiting for word, I’m sure your mom will give mine a call. There’s nothing like spreading the news of a new grandbaby!
I’m sure it’s a great comfort knowing what great hands Rylan is in, even if they aren’t yours. You’ll bring him home the best gift ever - Mommy, Daddy and a new little one to love. Yay!!! HUGS!

Can’t believe you’re finally going to be meeting child 2.0 - the little stinker just didn’t want to come out and meet the world!
Praying it all goes well and that you take some comfort in knowing the boy has both his grandmas around to care and love on him!
I’m so excited for you!

I was in the same position with Becca, never not being there over night. It was one night and she was awesome with Grandma (your boy sees his Grandparents way more often too!) She came and say us twice in the hospital, once while I was in labour but not crazy labour and of course right after Ethan was born.
You are so going to totally rock!

He’ll do fine. Mine didn’t even miss me! It hurts us more to be apart from them. Good luck with everything. I’ll be closely watching my Google Reader for your birth story post!

Sending positive labour vibes! I am sure all will go smoothly. Hope to hear from you (or about you via the BG)very very soon. THe first separation is always hard. When K spent a week at his grandparents (while we moved), I missed him terribly. He had a blast! Can’t wait to see how he does during the month my mom takes him when baby 2 is born!!
