I Buy Canadian!
I love shopping, and I especially love shopping online.
I try to buy Canadian as much as possible (and promote Canadian business via reviews at TOP)but it’s not all patriotism. It’s also frugality. I love supporting the economy of my country, I love supporting any parent-run business and I love not leaving the house to shop…but I hate (HATE!) paying shipping charges. I’ll take a free shipping deal any day. When I do have to pay shipping, it’s much cheaper when I buy from Canadian companies. (But I’ll usually stop the ordering process if I can’t find a free shipping code – one will come along eventually!)
Speaking of shipping, shopping Canadian (and even better, local) greatly reduces the environmental damage from shipping items across the continent and overseas.
Really, there’s nothing bad about supporting the Great White North!

I am totally trying to shop Canadian only … but I was a tad spoiled down there.

I’m still in the spoiled land of cheapness (GA, USA) but funnily enough we try and shop Canadian down here. Years a go we went out of our way to find Canadian made baby furniture. We specifically look at labels to see where things are from and tend to buy it if its Canadian no matter how much more expensive it is. There is also a little bit of a thrill at seeing Made in Canada.
I need to get out more…don’t I?!?!?
