Every Canadian boy should get his first pair of skates when he’s two.
Mine is no exception.
Primo & Mommy enjoying (kind of) his first skate.
We went around the rink 4 times and I was soaked in sweat from bearing all of his weight while bent 90 degrees at the waist the whole time.
Yes. In Canada we skate in August.

oh your poor back! I did that once w/my cousin and I remember how it felt after being bent over like that for so long! They did have some overturned buckets that kids were using for balance to push themselves along and that helped the next time we went!

Wow! Should I see how Fly does with ice skates at the rink near us? Or do you have to have Canadian blood to do that so young?
