How not to discover that your two year old can open the baby gate?
Turn your back and come back to discover your crying baby on the floor at the bottom of the stairs.
Post Script – She’s okay. The stairs are heavily carpeted at Grandma’s house and she only cried for a minute. Other than two tight spots in her mid back that the chiropractor fixed, she’s no worse for wear. Thank God. I’m looking for something to keep the gate closed…bungee cord? Padlock?

what a scary moment for you. I watched Becca tumble down my Dad’s stairs once …. it was frightful. She was perfectly fine (cried but was fine) but I can still see it in my head …. eep!
