Giving Thanks for Family
When I was making the DVD of my Dad’s life for his memorial I realized that, for all of us, there comes a time when all that is left are memories and pictures. I’ll never listen again when someone tells me I take too many pictures. (Not that I ever did anyway…)
Here are some pics from this past weekend…(only from my mother in law’s…we didn’t do any at my father in laws…next time!)

My Mommy & I

My mother in law, Mom, & my kids

Me & Primo

Us

Primo with his “Gumpa Wodger.”
He idolizes him completely. He refused to sit nicely with us but Roger comes out and he’s a little angel…

Auntie Sasha with my kids
(She has lost 105 lbs since this time last year!)
There are bazillions more but they’re too big for Wordpress to upload and I don’t have time to compress every one so…oh well!
Now, go take some pictures of people you love.

I was reminded of that very thing last night. On Monday I saw my former in-laws, they were dropping my girl off after having spent the weekend with her. We’re still close and I’ll always consider them family.
Last night I learned that a truck battery had exploded in fF-I-L’s face at work on Tuesday. He was hurt pretty badly and might lose sight in one eye, but it could have been much worse. He’s thankful he got to see Maddie again before it happened. We’re all thankful he’ll be ok.
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful pictures with us. I agree with Steff – you guys do have the best smiles!

Great pictures!
You’re so right!! One thing to add…when looking for pictures of my father for his birthday party I found hardly any of him. He was always the one taking them. Therefore…new rule; switch up the photographer now and again!

The pictures are lovely. I’m gathering photos to make a slideshow for my grandfather’s memorial service next week and I’ve had similar thoughts. You can never take too many photographs.
