Things Heard.
Just in the last 15 hours…
“Don’t talk or you time out, Mommy.”
“No doing dat or you time out, Mommy.”
“I want Daddy when he gets home.”
“No you helping me. Only Daddy.”
“Go away. You go now, Mommy.” (Because he wanted to cuddle with just Daddy at bedtime.)
“Go over dere, Mommy. No looking at me.” (Because he was opening a Sharpie and wanted to draw all over the cupboards without me seeing.)
And, the saving grace. A spontaneous “I love you, Mommy.”

LOL! At least he threw in the “i love you mommy”. They may treat us like dishrags, but we now that they love us more than anything in this world. Who else do they call for when they’re hurt or sick?

Yes, isn’t it great when they figure they can give us a timeout too? I always feel so “bossy” when I say, “You can’t speak to your parents like that. Who is in charge?” and often her answer is “me!”.
Lately, with the birth of her brother, the bunny has been saying, “I want to get rid of my bedroom so that I don’t have to have a time out”.

Ugh, sharpies are so not cool to get off of things. I had an “artist” in my Jillian. The sharpies are so far out of reach now her homing device will never find them.

I haven’t been on here in FOREVER, but I did want to stop by to say hello. You’re children are so beautiful. They’ve grown quite a bit. I still remember when you told us all that you were pregnant with the boy child, ha ha. That’s so great.
I am very sorry about your dad and I hope that you remember him daily. He sounds like a great man!
