Life, in Haiku
Have you done a prank?
Time is a ticking, people.
Don’t poop the party.
Laryngitis sucks
But makes me a better mom
No yelling – more hugs
Working on photos
is keeping me from blogging.
Everything, really.
Pics from three sessions
hanging over my big head.
Must edit and print.
I love what I do
but it all takes so much time.
Can’t keep up. Who can?
Laundry floor is full.
Not even time for basics.
Playing is more important.
Three more months ’til work
Dread it more than anything
Where’s my lottery?
Leaving my babies
But with someone amazing
At least we hope so
First month with their Dad
Two weeks with Grandma Betty
Then the dreaded day
Seems kind and gentle
Twelve years of experience
Glowing references
Let’s hope kids agree…
No career before sad kids
I’d live in a box

I cannot imagine the dread you must be feeling. BIG HUGS!
Hope you feel better soon.
Playing ALWAYS comes before housework around here

Wow, you’re good with the haiku.
It must be hard to leave your children with someone else for the day. All the moms I know who do that feel sad about it too. Hugs!
And yeah, who has enough time to do everything? I’d like to meet her, really and truly!
I hope your voice comes back soon!

I keep winning the UK National Lottery – when I get my money I’ll share it with you, ok?

On the other hand…you have 3 whole months!!!!
That’s one of the ‘stipulations’ to moving back to Canada…I have to go back to work. Rather that than what’s now!! Still… and mine is going to school in the fall!!!
