Weekend In Numbers
13 – loads of dirty laundry I needed to do when I got home from a week at my mom’s because, though I did all of the kids & mine at her house, someone (and I’m not naming any names – ahem) didn’t do any while we were gone.
0 – times we had to get up with kids Friday night (perhaps because we forgot to turn on Bella’s monitor?)
4 – hours it took us to get ready and load up the van on Saturday.
5 – hours spent in the van.
0 – minutes of nap had by three year old
20+5 – minutes of nap had by one year old
30 – minutes of nap had by husband
7863 – times we thanked Jesus for inventing DVD players.
(What? He didn’t invent them?).
4 – hours spent in a beautiful park enjoying each other and ignoring the over commercialization of ourDay out with Thomas.
20 – minutes spent on a train pulled by the Thomas the Tank Engine.
2 – big bags of popcorn consumed and called “lunch.”
0 – tantrums thrown by the three year old – a miracle in and of itself.
1 – dinner had with one of my favourite people and her beautiful daughter.
3 – hours late the kids went to bed Saturday night.
2 – number of overpriced Thomas items purchased from the gift shop.
20 – dollar spent on said items. Go me! Both usable too…water wow book (our faves – get some) and a toothbrush.
3 – hours of sleep I got on Saturday night. Non-consecutively, natch.
38 – times Bella told me my boobs were ‘stuck’ when there was no milk left and she just couldn’t be consoled. Tummy ache, I think.
1 – looooong photo shoot that I had booked for today and couldn’t cancel.
486 – images to sort & edit from today’s shoot.
13 – hours of consecutive sleep I’ll need to feel caught up from this weekend
0 – chance of that happening.
