When I went back to work we went through 3 day home providers in the first 6 months. Once I was on Mat Leave I heard that if you already have a child in the daycare, the baby would have priority on the waitlist so for 8 months we paid for Sierra to go to daycare on my Mat. Leave just so we would have a place for Brooke. I was a very expensive way to buy peace of mind and not have to go through that stuff again. The daycare centre is ridiculously expensive (we pay $2,000/mth). Hugs!
