Not Yo’ Nachos
My family was recently sent a sample of Snikiddy Nacho Cheese Puffs. We’re big fans of Snikiddy products and particularly love reviewing them because that’s the only time my kids get “junk” food. Snikiddy isn’t available in my area (or in Canada?) and we don’t allow crap food in our house (when the kids are awake, anyway!) so it’s rare that they get something that comes in a bag.
“Snikiddy® is a brand of great tasting, family-friendly snack foods made from simple, wholesome, and real ingredients” and that’s why we love them. They’re not all organic, but some are, and what’s not organic is still pretty natural. For a junk food/processed food option, I’d certainly choose Snikiddy products over anything else that’s available commercially. While our local grocer has a decent amount of organic & natural snacks in their natural foods section, we’d love to see the Snikiddy line up added to the shelves and will be putting in a special request for them next week when we hit the store.
The Nacho Cheese Puffs are cholesterol free, low in saturated fat and only 120 calories per serving. Better than that, they taste pretty great, the kids (and the seagulls they shared with) loved them and I didn’t feel guilty about them eating processed foods – particularly because they had fresh fruits & veggies before I pulled these out for a special treat at the park.
