No Glove, No…Dishes?

PlaytexLivingGlovesThe PR folks for Playtex gloves recently sent me some cute (as cute as rubber gloves can be, anyway) purple rubber gloves with a handy dandy fold-over cuff that keeps the water from running up your sleeve when you lift your arm. I’ve actually always been a bare handed dish washer (or, more often, a leave them in the sink until the dishwasher is empty dish washer) because rubber gloves annoy me, but I’ve become a convert with the arrival of my cute new purple ones. They’re called Living Gloves and they have two layers which is great for washing in super hot water. Though I’ll always call them “rubber gloves,” they’re actually made of a special blend of neoprene and latex to resist harsh household chemicals and contain antimicrobial protection to keep them mold and mildew free.

I have no idea how, but any time I’ve used rubber gloves before I’ve ended up with a hole in the finger. Must be my hangnails or something, because it’s sure not my nails since I don’t have any! These gloves have reinforced fingers and palms and I haven’t broken through them yet.

The best part of these gloves, in my always humble opinion, is the extra-long Drip-Catchâ„¢ cuffs to protect your arms. My sleeves are never soaked anymore! (Hey, maybe I should wear them when I bath my kids – I’m always soaked after that!)

They’re available in small, medium and large. I’m a medium so I’m keeping those ones, but if you’d like to win some small or large wicked cool purple “rubber” gloves, fire me off an email to muchmorethanamom@gmail.com with GLOVES in the subject heading & note what size you want. I don’t know if you can comment on a page or not, but if you can comment here then that will work too. Contest closes whenever I feel like it, and I’ll use random.org to draw from all emails/comments. Winner will be emailed and I’ll forget to mention it here, as usual.
